The GFMS installs for dissemination four distribution channels to disseminate the high-quality products to a wide range of user-types.
The product access and dissemination system is suitable for all the needs of future users.
Each channel is designed to access the products in a flexible, yet easy to use, manner.

These channels are:

  • REST-API, a Representational State Transfer compliant (RESTful) designed application programming interface (API)

• a Web Push Notification Service which can be digested by all HTML capable browsers (Mobile or Desktop) by means of a web-socket based approach (see section 2.4.3.3 Module - Web Push Notification), • a Web Map Service supporting temporal request (hereafter WMS-T) according to OGC standards (see section 2.4.3.5 Module – Web-Map-Service with temporal support) • and as additional solutions at no added costs a suite of single-page Web applications to interact with the GFM service, which are easy to be integrated in existing emergency platforms and situation rooms (see section 2.4.5.1 Highly customizable single page web applications).
