- What is GFM?
- How emergency management professionals can use GFMS data?
- How the public can use GFM data?
- What are the system requirements to an effective use of GFM products?
- How can I request a specific GFM product?
- How do I get GFM training and/or access educational material?
- Where do I find GFM's technical documentation?
Are there other sources I could consult before taking a decision?
How does EFAS estimate the impact of an event? how can I know whether they system is fully operational? In which format are GFM output product layers available?]
How frequently are GFM data updated? How often are the active fire data acquired? What time does the satellite pass over my area? https://earthdata.nasa.gov/faq/firms-faq
Which web services (API) are available? https://land.copernicus.eu/global/faq How do I subscribe to upcoming products through the legacy product access portal? https://land.copernicus.eu/global/faq
How to credit GFM as data source in publications?
Do you have HRL products for download for individual countries?
How to interpret a certain uncertainty value for a pixel?
I found a mistake in CLC. What is the optimal way to report it?
How are data validated?
Where can I find documentation on Copernicus Sentinel missions? https://sentinel.esa.int/web/sentinel/faq The Copernicus Sentinels Document Library is available here.
Why is there an overlap between Copernicus Sentinel-1 Level-0 products?
Level-0 (RAW) products constantly have an overlap at the beginning/end of each scene. The seconds of the overlap are described in the product annotation in the "generalProductInformation" section. The "s1sar:sliceOverlap" parameter is defined as follows:
"Overlap (in seconds) of input data between adjacent slices within the L0 segment to which the slice belongs (applicable if the current L0 product is a slice)" and it provides the information on the overlap between the consecutive products.
There are no overlaps between Level-1 images.
Where can I find detailed documentation on Copernicus Sentinel data products and algorithm descriptions?
Copernicus Sentinel technical guides are available here for each instrument.
Are there known Copernicus Sentinel-1 / GFM product quality issues?
Where can I find an update on the Sentinel-2 products quality?
Is the information I give to GFM Login really safe? [only for stand-alone webpages, e .g., Twitter accounts]
