Users are granted full access to GFM products through the EFAS webportal.
GFM data on EFAS
The European Flood Awareness System (EFAS), jointly developed by the European Commission and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), is a hydrological forecast and monitoring system in the greater European domain.
GFM products are made available within the GloFAS Map Viewer that can be accessed here.
Though real-time data are usually available only to registered users, GFM products can be freely accessed.
GFM datasets are listed in the Flood Summary scroll down menu, as in the following figure
Upon switching on GFM NRT Flood Mapping, the system will display the list of the 11 datasets provided by the GFM service:
as users choose a specific layer, the MapViewer is prompted to display the latest available data for each tile.
